Sloten has subsidiaries that market its products in Germany, Poland, Italy and Brazil.

Sloten Germany

Sloten launched its German operations in 1969 in Regensburg (southern Germany) under the name Milchfutter GmbH. In 1975, the company moved to Diepholz, closer to the Dutch border. Later, in March 2002, it was renamed Sloten GmbH. 

Manager Gerrit Apperlo has been at the helm for around ten years now.

Sloten Poland

Sloten Polska Sp. z o.o. was founded in 2001, and is located in a lovely spot in the centre of Bydgoszcz. Poland’s joining the European Union on the 1st of May 2004 eliminated export restrictions, allowing Sloten Poland to grow unfettered. This was probably the biggest single impact on its operations. The company’s ongoing development is being managed by Artur Balcerowiak.

Sloten Italy

As Sloten Italia srl, Sloten has been active in Italy since 2001, when it bought the Italian company Sicom (Sloten’s former distributor) from the Dutch De Boer family and the Italian gentleman Mr Mottalini. Sloten Italia srl was born. Sloten Italy’s office is located in the picturesque town of Crema, situated in northern Italy between Bergamo and Milan.

Manager Alberto Colzani: “Sloten Italy has an excellent reputation and a strong position in the market for rearing and veal calves. In recent years, the company has become active in the segment for buffalo calves, lambs and goat kids. I am convinced that Sloten is set to become the partner of choice for Italian companies.”

Sloten Brazil

Since 1998, Sloten do Brasil has been based in Santa Bárbara d’Oeste, a town 150 km from
São Paulo. Recently it moved to Santos, where also the main port is situated. The organisation focuses closely on proving and reinforcing its reputation, and continuing to supply its clients with quality pig feed ingredients and calf milk replacers, along with the required, and highly valued, technical support. In 2009 Carlos Seiffert was appointed as General Manager.

“Milk production in Brazil is growing rapidly, leading to lower cost prices. Furthermore, the country is likely to become a serious exporter of milk products. So it remains a specific challenge for Sloten do Brasil to organise the production of Sprayfo and Nuklospray on a local scale. If we succeed, my dream for Sloten do Brasil will come true!”
